The host Grandmaster (GM) defeated teammate International Master (IM) To Nhat Minh yesterday and will meet GM Tu Hoang Thong of HCM City in today’s match. Thong also has two points like Minh but ranks fifth.

IM Le Tuan Minh of Binh Duong is at second position, followed by GM Nguyen Huynh Minh Huy from HCM City.

On the women’s side, Women’s FIDE Master Bach Ngoc Thuy Duong of HCM City is in top place.

Her teammate, Women’s GM Hoang Thi Bao Tram, is second and IM Pham Le Thao Nguyen of Can Tho is third.
