VietNamNet Bridge – There were no surprises on the first day of the VTF Junior – Vietravel Cup 2018 as all seeds got through their matches smoothly.

The tournament is being held at the tennis stadium complex of Ninh Binh Gymnasium from July 28 to August 4.

In men’s singles U14, first seed Truong Vinh Hien from the HCM City team easily beat Truong Gia Kiet 9-2, while second seed Pham La Hoang Anh from Hanoi defeated Do Hoang Long from Lao Cai Province at 7-3.

In women’s singles U14, defending champion of VTF Junior Tour 1 Ly Minh Anh from Bac Giang’s team beat Giap Minh Tam of the same team 9-6.

The second round of men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles and women’s doubles will continue today. Matches start at 8am.
