VietNamNet Bridge – Norwegian Crown Prince Haakon Magnus and Crown Princess Mette-Marit are scheduled to visit Vietnam from March 18-21 at the invitation of Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan.

The Norwegian guests will be accompanied by the Norwegian Minster of Industry and Trade, other two ministers and a large business delegation.

The visit aims to further boost Vietnam-Norway trade and industry cooperation in which shipbuilding, maritime transport, aquaculture, science and technology, consumer goods are considered key business areas of Norway in Vietnam.

Both nations priotize investing in energy and hydroelectricity through which they can enjoy great benefits.

Vietnam and Norway have maintained a longstanding tradition of cooperation in dealing with global issues related to poverty reduction and challenges from climate change.

In the framework of the visit, a number of seminars will be staged with a view to bolstering trade links between the two nations.
