Vietnam’s Law of the Sea, the Law on the Coast Guard of Vietnam and Vietnam waters.

On July 6, the Ba Ria City Party Committee’s Propaganda Department organized an exchange between 63 members of a party enthusiastic class with soldiers of the High Command of Coast Guard Region 3.

The High Command of Coast Guard Region 3 introduced 63 members to the waters of Vietnam; the way of determining the baseline, the internal waters, the territorial sea, the contiguous zone, the exclusive economic zone and the continental shelf within the territorial waters of Vietnam under the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea; the Law of the Sea of ​​Vietnam 2012; the Law on Vietnam Coast Guard 2018; and the current situation of security of sea and islands of the country. 

This is an activity to help cadres and students to have a deeper understanding of the position, role and importance of Vietnam's sea and islands; to understand the consistent views and policies of the Party and State on issues related to sea and islands; the operation of the Vietnam Coast Guard in general and the High Command of Coast Guard Region 3 in particular.
