The Online Market for Dak Lak’s agricultural products.

Located in the center of the Central Highlands of Vietnam, the area of agricultural, forestry and fishery land accounts for 88.37% of the natural area of Dak Lak province, including 627,162 hectares of agricultural land (48.13%).

Dak Lak is famous for many types of industrial crops with high economic value such as: Coffee, pepper, cocoa, durian, macadamia, rubber besides rice, other agricultural and cattle and poultry products.

The unique climate and soil in this land have created special agricultural products, including many products are produced by ethnic minorities in the province.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak province, along with a series of measures to protect brands, support ethnic minorities in production, consumption, and export to increase added value for agricultural products, the local government also promotes trade connections between suppliers and distributors and exporters of agricultural products.

In order to promote the sales of agricultural products of ethnic minorities in particular and people in the province in general, the Dak Lak Provincial Farmers' Association has launched the Online market for Dak Lak agricultural products at chonongsandaklak.vn.

The platform, managed by the Provincial Farmers' Association, is established specifically for the business types of collective economy and production association, with the purpose of promoting and introducing products, invite links to the agricultural value chain and wholesale agricultural products. The booths are designed to help farmers tell the story of their products from the planting to harvesting and packaging stage.

The online Dak Lak agricultural market is expected to create space for research, introduction, display, advertising, and marketing of products, services and brands as well as for production and business cooperation on online platforms.

In addition to creating an environment for buyers and sellers to negotiate directly, the online market for Dak Lak’s agricultural products is also a place for businesses to access and find goods with transparency in origin, brand... with the most input information and saves the most time and effort.

This platform is expected to help open up output for local agricultural products, creating a stable source of income for ethnic minorities in particular and local people in general.
