VietNamNet Bridge – Advertising a music show entitled “Vu Dieu Duong Cong” (Dance of Curve) in the northern port city of Hai Phong as a program --“not for under-18 people and decent women,” the show banners were removed while the organizers had to pay VND20 million ($1,000) fine.

On August 30, many Haiphong people were astonished when they saw a big-sized banner advertising for the “Vu Dieu Duong Cong” music show at the gate of the Youth Cultural Palace in Haiphong.

The banner had pictures of sexy girls in bikini and a line in bold: “The program is not designed for under-18 people and decent women.”

The same day, the Haiphong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism removed all advertising posters of the show.

Local officials said that the show organizers used banners with unlicensed contents.

“Vu Dieu Duong Cong” was advertised to have the presence of “hot faces” of the local showbiz like Angela Phuong Trinh, Ngan Khanh, Trang Nhung, Tra Ngoc Hang and “hotgirls.” The organizer is the Media and Event JS Company of the Vietnamese Singers’ Association. The show is scheduled for Hanoi on September 8 and in Haiphong on September 9.

However, advertising banners in Hanoi did not include sensitive contents.

The show organizers explained that this was an accident. They said the banner designers added line “The program is not designed for under-18 people and decent women” for fun, which was only shared among them. But they mistakenly printed this file.
