The 4.4km-long road with six lanes must be executed in sync with the Terminal T3 project at the airport to ensure smooth connectivity and improve operations of the airport. It is expected to ease traffic congestion on Truong Son Street as the main gateway to the airport, as well as other minor streets in the airport vicinity such as Phan Thuc Duyen, Cong Hoa and Hoang Hoa Tham.
The project will also include two two-lane underground tunnels at the intersections of Phan Thuc Duyen and Tran Quoc Hoan streets, and Truong Chinh and Tan Ky Tan Quy streets, as well as a 987-metre flyover in front of the airport’s new Terminal 3.

HCM City will not increase land prices in 2022
Ho Chi Minh City People's Council on December 9 passed a Resolution to not change land prices in 2022 in order to ease difficulties for businesses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The land prices in the city differ in five areas, including: Area one with District 1, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, Tan Binh, Phu Nhuan; area two with Thu Duc City, Districts 6, 7, Go Vap, Binh Thanh, and Tan Phu; area three with District 8, 12, Binh Tan; area four with Binh Chanh, Cu Chi, Nha Be and Hoc Mon districts; and area 5 with Can Gio district.
3,000 trucks of goods stuck at Vietnam-China border gates

According to the Department of Industry and Trade in Lang Son province, as of December 7, up to 3,324 trucks transporting Vietnamese agricultural products to China were stuck at Vietnam-China border gates located in the province.
A representative of the Management Board of Dong Dang-Lang Son border gate economic zone said that as soon as congestion appeared, the agency contacted the Chinese side to find a way to clear goods in the fastest way. However, the Chinese authorities are applying very strict disease control measures.
Customs clearance at these border gates is slow, but goods from many provinces are still pouring in. Many drivers have been waiting for at the border gate for eight days for customs clearance.
Hanoian earns nearly US$5 million from Facebook, Google
According to the Hanoi tax authority, a person involved in e-commerce activities has paid tax of VND11 billion (nearly $500,000) to the State. It is estimated that this person earned about VND100 billion from Google, Facebook and YouTube.
5,600 digital tech firms established in Vietnam this year
Up to 5,600 tech firms were established this year, raising the total number of tech firms to nearly 64,000, with over one million employees, according to the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Last year, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Vietnam's GDP growth was only 2.91%, while the digital technology industry hit over 9%, a three-fold increase against the country's GDP growth.
To foster the development of these digital tech companies, the national forum for digital enterprise development will be held on December 11 in Hanoi. The Ministry of Information and Communications expects the national forum to spread the startup spirit to help Vietnam fulfill its target of establishing 100,000 digital tech firms.
