VietNamNet Bridge – The first international circus gala in HCMC will take place this weekend at the Lan Anh Club in District 10, with more than 50 artists, including six from abroad, attending, Tuoi Tre newspaper reports.

Artists from the Czech Republic will perform acrobatics and prestidigitation while the Russian circus troupe will stage their aerobatics performance and tell a love story through the art of circus with snow falling on stage.

The show will also entertain children with swinging and magic performances.

Vietnamese artists will present their best moves through aerobatics, sword biting and animal circus performances.

Nguyen Duc The, director of Phuong Nam Theater, the event’s organizer, said the international circus gala is not only a show to entertain the audience but an opportunity for local artists to learn from their foreign peers.

The show is scheduled to take place at 8 p.m. on March 3 and 10 a.m. on March 6.
