During his one-week trip in HCMC where he was born in 1972, Cung Le has had meetings with local fans at the Crescent Mall and learners at the Saigon Sports Club in HCMC’s District 7. This is his fourth time back to Vietnam.
Cung Le is practicing at the Saigon Sports Club to prepare for his battle with Michael Bisping in Macau on August 23. At the age of 42, Cung Le said he is still in his best physical condition.
His battle with Michael Bisping will take place at the Cotai Arena in the framework of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Fight Night. Cung Le defeated former UFC champion Rich Franklin two years ago. He expects his trip back to the motherland Vietnam will help transfuse more strength for him in the upcoming fight.

Cung Le is competing as a Middleweight in the UFC. In Sanshou, he is a former International Kickboxing Federation Light Heavyweight World Champion and the second Strikeforce Middleweight Champion in mixed martial arts.
He played roles in some Hollywood movies like Tekken, Pandorum, Fighting, Dragon Eyes and Puncture Wounds.
