VietNamNet Bridge – Ben Nguyen, a Vietnamese American mixed martial arts athlete, will come back to his hometown to exchange with local audience on February 11 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Saigon Sports Club in HCMC’s District 7.

Ben Nguyen is the sole overseas Vietnamese fighter battling at UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), posting a record of three wins and one loss. Previously, he started college to become an engineer but then realized it wasn’t for him, so he quit to chase the dream of being a fighter. “It is a huge accomplishment to be fighting on the main stage of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). It took me eight years to get here and there’s no looking back,” said Ben Nguyen in the official site of UFC.
During the meeting with Ben Nguyen, audience can have a chance to practice with the athlete. People who wish to come and join the free-entrance exchange with the fighter can register in advance at www.saigonsc.vn/seminar or call (08) 3773 0514. Deadline for registrations is before 10 p.m. on February 10. Those who come to the event on the day have to pay entrance fee of VND500,000 per person.
