VietNamNet Bridge – Not only classical music but also paintings and installation art will be brought to street.
The “Luala Concert” has been held for over a month in Hanoi and it has become a cultural event which gains warm support of the media and local people.

The open-air concerts aim to take classical music out of its usual confines of the concert hall and bring it to the people on the street.

Each “Luala Concert” attracts around 200 people of all ages and classes, both locals and visitors. The event is selected as one of the ten outstanding musical events in Vietnam by the Association of Vietnamese Composers.
On the occasion of Christmas, a special “Luala Concert” with the participation of three chamber singers People’s Artist Quang Tho, Hong Vy and Ha Pham Thang Long has been launched.

“We would like to introduce new experiments in street music, with the participation of famous artists of chamber music, in the upcoming Luala Concert,” said composer Tran Manh Hung.

At the pavement in front of the Music Publishing House, where the special “Luala Concert” takes place, the organizing board displays Phan Phuong Dong’s “Through the Winter” sculptural work and “Symphony of Life” collection by young painters, including Nguyen Khac Chinh, Tran Tuan Nam, Do Van Hiep and Nguyen Hong Phuong.

The “Luala Concert” will close on January 15, 2012, instead of January 11, 2012, as schedule.
