A palanquin procession was solemnly held in Phu Tho province on April 4 as part of the Hung Kings Temple Festival. The traditional ritual has been preserved for thousands of years, becoming a good chance for people to commemorate the founders of the nation.
This year event drew the participation of people in five local communes. Each commune prepared their own specialties as offerings to the Hung Kings, showing their gratitude to the ancestors.
