They signed a memorandum of understanding on the partnership in Ho Chi Minh City on April 1. This is part of activities to attract more Vietnamese people who take the occasion of either meetings, incentives, conferences or events (MICE) to travel to the RoK.
Accordingly, Vietravel will help to handle local administrative procedures and offer more MICE tours that include Gyeonggi as a destination.
The company reports that it provided RoK tours for more than 12,000 holiday makers last year, including some 5,000 MICE tourists.
The RoK has become one of the top MICE tourist destinations in the world with a number well-known places of interest, high-end restaurants and hotels, major shopping malls, and big professional fair and exhibition venues.
