On January 19, a delegation of the Party Central Committee, the State President’s Office, the National Assembly, the Government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) paid floral tribute to the late President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum in Hanoi.


The delegation included Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Truong Tan Sang, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, National Assembly (NA) Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, President of the VFF Central Committee Huynh Dam and other former Party and State leaders.

The same day, a delegation of the Central Party Military Committee and the Ministry of National Defence led by General Phung Quang Thanh also carried out its function at the  Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the War Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Memorial.

The floral tributes marked the approach of the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet) and the 82nd anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).
