VietNamNet Bridge – At the Gala Diner on November 18 in Nha Trang, many people paid VND1 million ($50) fee to take a picture with 79 contestants. The money will go to a charity fund for poor students.

 

Three items donated by Miss Earth contestants were also auctioned to raise funds for poor students. A plate with the signature of Miss Earth 2009 Larissa Ramos was offered for VND5 million ($250). It was bought by a woman who paid VND9.5 million dong ($470)

 

Another guest bought a pair of gold-inlaid cups at the price of 22 million dong ($1100).

 

The last item – a T-shirt with the signatures of all 79 contestants – was auctioned for VND20 million ($1000).

 

Also at the gala, the winners of the Best in ao dai and Best in evening gown titles, the contestants from Serbia and Ecuador shared their happiness with the audience.

 

A representative of Diamond Bay resort presented the title Best golf player to the contestants from Botswana and Cayman Islands.
