French coach Philippe Troussier says that the huge legacy left by his Korean predecessor Park Hang Seo will help him and the Vietnamese football squad conquer the dream of playing at the FIFA World Cup.

Philippe Troussier, the newly appointed head coach of Vietnam’s national and U23 football teams, has announced an initial squad of 41 players for the upcoming SEA Games which will be held in Cambodia in May.

The Vietnamese U19 men’s national football team have been drawn in Group C at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U19 Championship 2020 finals and will take on regional rivals such as Laos, Australia, and Saudi Arabia.

Head coach of the Vietnam U19 men’s national team Philippe Troussier has called up a large squad of 29 footballers in preparation for the upcoming AFC U19 Championship 2020 finals which are set to get underway in Uzbekistan between October 14-31.

Vietnam’s national under-19 football team are set to play local rivals Thailand in the opening match of the Bangkok Cup 2019, a regional under-19 football tournament, which is scheduled to take place from October 10-12.

Philippe Troussier has been appointed coach of the Vietnam U18 team, the Viet Nam Football Federation has announced.
