Wind is a dialogue and interaction of piano and cheo (northern opera) to revive an old piece of Quan Am Thi Kinh by music of composer Dang Tue Nguyen, which Pho An My and leading cheo artists will perform.

My’s performance will tell stories about two women with different lives, Thi Kinh and Thi Mau, with the former symbolizing Patience, and the latter representing Thirst (for love, for life).

Piano sounds will mingle with traditional musical instruments to revoke people’s imagination. A vibrant voice of People’s Artist Thanh Hoai will also contribute to the perfect blend of music.

Pianist Pho An My used to join hands with composer Dang Tue Nguyen in two concerts named Bong and Lua where they combined classical and modern music.

The Wind show is directed by musician Pho Duc Phuong and his team consisting of art consultant Vu Dinh Quan, former director of the theater of cheo, classical music percussionist Tran Xuan Hoa, contrabassist Do Hai Nam, Meritorious Artist/traditional music percussionist Nguyen Van Quy, flute artist Le Quy Trung, and two-string violinist Xuan Hai,

Prior to the concert, there will be a multimedia exhibition called NIG by Tran Trong Linh at 5 p.m. on December 2. This pre-show event will feature theme music by Pho An My and composer Dang Tue Nguyen.

Tickets are priced at VND1 million per person and can be purchased at https://ticketbox.vn. For ticket delivery, call 0902 266 066 or 0123 338 9472.
