The book, 90 Năm Đảng Cộng Sản Việt Nam (1930-2020), (90 Years of the Communist Party of Vietnam), is published by the Vietnam News Agency Publishing House.
It features 400 pages in Vietnamese and English.
More than 600 black-and-white and colour photos of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, selected from different sources and in different periods, are featured.
Many photos and documents come from the Archives Department of the Central Party Committee, National Archives, Museum of Vietnamese History, Museum of Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnam News Agency.
The book features the Party’s establishment, leadership and developments between 1930 and 1945 and the đổi mới (renewal) process between 1986 and 2020.
The role, prestige, leadership capacity and combat strength of the Party in almost a century in the country’s history are highlighted.
“The book, 90 Năm Đảng Cộng Sản Việt Nam (1930-2020), helps young generations to contribute the pride of patriotism and inspire the people’s pride and trust in the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the country’s renewal process, and the building of a strong socialist Vietnam after reading,” said reader Do Kim Thoa of Binh Thanh District in HCM City.
Stamp launched to celebrate Party’s 90th anniversary
A stamp celebrating the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2020) has just been launched in Hanoi.

The stamp, designed by painter To Minh Trang of the Vietnam Post Corporation, features number 90 on the Party’s flag with the portrait of late President Ho Chi Minh, the founder of the Party.
It also includes an image of a dove which implies peace and national independence, along with some patterns representing the country’s achievements in economy, industrialisation and modernisation under the Party’s leadership.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Anh Tuan said the stamp will help improve public awareness of the Party and affirm the Party’s role, prestige, leadership capacity, combat strength and faithfulness to the nation’s interests over the past nine decades.
The stamp measures 43mm by 32mm and has a face value of VND4,000 (US$0.2). It is available on the public postal network from January 31, 2020 to February 31, 2021. — VNS
