VietNamNet Bridge – A photo book by Nguyen Van Ku about Cham cultural heritage has been first published in five languages, including Vietnamese, Cham Latin script, English, French and ancient Cham.


Author Nguyen Van Ku used to work in the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences. He is a historian and archaeologist who spent many years making field trips and researching Cham relics. He is also a photographer and is a member of the International Arts Photographers’ Federation.

The book was first published in 2007, and reprinted in 2008.

The 168-page book has 175 photos, drawings and maps, including several drawings by French archaeologists. The book introduces Cham temples in central and Central Highlands provinces, and the religions, beliefs, people, animals, economic activities and life of Cham ethnic people.

A part from the text written by Assoc. Prof. Cao Xuan Pho, introduction of the author and translator of Cham language, the book is a treasure of valuable photos for people who want to discover and study Cham culture.
