The contest, the eighth of its kind jointly held by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Vietnam Association of Photogaphic Artists, forms part of the activities marking the 58th founding anniversary of the Vietnamese tourism sector (July 9).
It also aims to raise the awareness of tourism among the community, lure international tourists to Vietnam, and promote domestic tourism, contributing to making tourism a spearhead economic sector in line with Resolution 8-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
Eligible candidates are professional and amateur photographers at home and abroad, who are encouraged to capture the beauty of land and people of Vietnam.
Entries should be sent to the website: http://www.anhnghethuatdulich.com , no later than June 10, 2018.
One first, two second, three third and five consolation prizes will be presented to the top entries at a ceremony by the end of June.
The contest was first launched in 1990 with the latest one held in 2015 under the theme “Vietnam Today”, which attracted 5,500 works, including colour and monochrome photos.-VNA
