The exhibit provides an overview of life in Hanoi and how it has changed since the country’s Declaration of Independence from France some 72 years ago on September 2, 1945.

The photos are a portfolio shot by professional and amateur photographers across the country and will go on exhibit through September 3.

In addition, there are many short movie clips about life in the city that are part of the celebration.
