The children are usually accompanied by elderly women, and some some babies are half-naked to win sympathy from passersby.

They are carried by motorcycle in the morning by men. While kids and women beg for money, the men sit in a nearby coffee shop to monitor the situation.

A woman in this group said they would be in Vietnam for two days. 

Early this year, several groups of Cambodian child beggars aged between 2-12, who were controlled by adults, appeared in HCM City. After the local authorities strengthened patrols, they disappeared after a few months.
