VietNamNet Bridge - Tra Que vegetable village in Hoi An town in Quang Nam province held the Cau Bong festival to pray for good weather and prosperity on the seventh day of the lunar year (Feb. 25).

Local people showed their talent in growing vegetables and preparing foods like cao lau (noodles served with pork and greens), mi Quang (Quang Nam style noodles) and tom huu, a specialty of the village.

Tra Que village covers 18ha and its capacity is 300 quintals per hectare. Its total volume is 540 tons worth VND9.2 billion. Tra Que’s vegetables are distributed in HCM City, Da Nang, Hue and Quang Nam.

The village has become a tourism destination where foreign tourists learn how to do farm work.
