VietNamNet Bridge – The intersections of East-West Avenue, Cat Lai, Bell Road 2 and Tram Overpass 2 are modern areas that have given HCM City a different face after 40 years of liberation.

The Bell Road 2 Intersection is on the HCM City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway, which was open to traffic this February. The highway has eight branches, with a total length of 12 km, including more than 8 km or road, 4 km of bridges and 15 sewers. The intersection connects the highway to branch roads.

The intersection is a major part of the highway. According to the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC), the contractor used more than 442,000 m3, nearly 34,000 m3 of macadam, over 36,000 tons of concrete and many other specialized materials to build this work.

The Tram Overpass 2 Intersection connects Hanoi Highway with National Highway 1A. This overpass helps deal with traffic congestion at the city’s northeast gateway.

The construction of this work began in 2004.

Cat Lai Intersection is located at the end of the East-West highway, connecting to the expanded Hanoi Highway. This is the most important road in the east of HCM City, connecting the city with southeastern provinces and the North.

Put into operation in August 2010, the road helps solve traffic congestion in HCM City.

East-West Highway and Highway 1A Intersection is the first point of the East-West highway, connecting HCM City with southwestern provinces.
