Parents are risking their children's lives by carrying them on motorbikes and scooters without helmets and driving in a dangerous manner.

A 10-month-old child lost his right arm on October 13 in the northern province of Ha Nam when his mother braked suddenly. The child, sitting in front of her, fell to the road and was run over by a truck.

A video on social media showed a young man lying on his back on his motorbike travelling at high speed on National Highway 1A, with his small child sitting on the saddle. Comments have criticised the careless attitude of parents towards their children.
