VietNamNet Bridge - Over the past four years, priest Nguyen Van Tich and volunteers have buried nearly 7,500 abandoned human fetuses in a 200m2 cemetery in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province.

Father Nguyen Van Tich in Bien Hoa City said that he built the cemetery in 2011 after visiting a hospital and discovering that fetuses left after abortion were “abandoned” by parents.

The priest and 17 volunteers went to health centers and hospitals in the province to get the fetuses which had been aborted, put them into jars and give them a name before burying in the cemetery.
