Hundreds of people yesterday flocked to Thu Le, which is a 200-year-old village in the central province Thua Thien-Hue, to enjoy the traditional wresting competition.

The competition is held annually on the sixth day of lunar year for wrestlers from the province's Quang Dien District. The village's elders said the completion has been a Tet (Lunar New Year) tradition since the first day of its formation.

They said the organising aims to educate young locals heroic stuff and reminds them of exercise practice every day. Wrestlers compete under high respect to each other and no damage or fatal hurts allowed.
