The exhibition, titled Traffic Sign, was organised by the National Committee for Safety Traffic in an effort to promote awareness regarding traffic safety rules and tips for accident prevention. It showcases a collection of photos and installations that depict traffic signs on the road and appropriate travel action plans to reduce the occurrence of road accidents.

The exhibit also raises awareness on the alarming number of road accidents in Viet Nam caused by the inattention of travellers to the rigid traffic laws in the country.

Dung, the artist, also opened a cafe decorated with hundreds of traffic signs and safety warnings used to guide the drivers in the city.

The photographer shared that most road accidents are due to reckless driving. These incidents include motorists driving too fast, under the influence of alcohol, or using a vehicle, particularly a motorbike, that is not roadworthy.

The exhibition, the first of its kind in Viet Nam, will run until December 31.

Other exhibitions are scheduled in Ha Noi in March and HCM City in April.
