VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnamese gymnast Pham Phuoc Hung on January 11, finished his competition at the second qualifier round of the Olympic 2012 in London but he did not win the right to attend the Olympic.




Two Vietnamese gymnasts, Phuoc Hung and Do Ngan Thuong, take part in the ongoing second qualifier round, where the last tickets to the Olympic are granted to gymnasts around the world.

In the first qualifier round or the World Gymnastics Championships 2011, Phan Thi Ha Thanh took a ticket after winning a gold medal for vault.

In the second qualifier round, athletes from 30 countries around the world will compete for 34 tickets for female gymnasts and 27 for male.

Phuoc Hung completed all six events for men: parallel bars, still rings, vault, free exercise, pommel horse, high bar. Hung’s best reslt is parallel bars, with 14,600 points, ranking 19th out of 88 gymnasts.

Ngan Thuong will perform today, January 12. Her difficulty is an wound on her left leg. To prepare for this competition, Thuong had to remove the bandage early.
