VietNamNet Bridge – Viet Nam duo Truong Thi Phuong and Nguyen Thi Tuyet passed their Chinese rival to win a gold medal at the International Canoe Federation Women’s Canoe Cup, which closed yesterday in Szeged City, Hungary.

Phuong and Tuyet championed in the women junior doubles 200m event with a time of 48.095sec.
Chinese pair Huan Men and Qi Li came in second at 48.595sec. They were followed by Alexsandra Kim and Svetlana Ussova of Kazakhstan with 48.941sec.
In the women individual 200m event, Vietnamese Nguyen Thi Ngan place fourth, timing 50.557sec.
Laurence Vincent-Lapointe of Canada (46.242sec), Orasa Thiangkathok from Thailand (49.826sec) and Spanish Patricia Coco Rohde (49.888sec) took the top three positions, respectively.
Ngan and her teammate Nguyen Thi Lan were sixth in the women doubles 200m.
