A Picasso painting was stolen last Friday from a museum in Colombia's southwestern department of Cauca, the museum authorities said on Tuesday.
The Picasso's etching was stolen from the museum on Friday afternoon, the museum authorities said in a statement.
The untitled painting, whose estimated worth is 60,000 U.S. dollars, had been donated by the Colombian sculptor Edgar Negred to the museum's collection, located in Popayan, capital of the Cauca department.
The local Public Prosecutor's Office has started to investigate the case.
Two foreigners who were not identified are among the suspects of the theft, according to local press reports.
