Bau Trang, a famous site that is about 60 km from Phan Thiet, is the only freshwater lake in Bac Binh District. Bau Trang is divided into two parts by sand dunes, which are called by local people Bau Ong (Mr. Lake) and Bau Ba (Mrs. Lake).

Local residents plant lotus in Bau Ba for lotus seeds and rootstocks. The lotuses are the distinctive beauty for this site.
