Influential Vietnamese scientist creates 52 varieties of fruit
Ha Thi Thuy, former deputy head of the Institute of Agricultural Genetics, who successfully developed 52 varieties of plants, was named as one of the 50 Vietnamese most influential women in 2016-2017 as recognized by Forbes.
Scientist improves yield of tea plant varieties
After 30 years of conducting research on tea plants, Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong has created five new varieties of tea, including one which gives 60-70 percent yield higher than the old one.
