Female footballer Nguyen Thi Muon from Hanoi Trang An 1 club was Tuesday dismissed from competition after she angrily protested referee by pushing on his back when the game with Steel Thai Nguyen was going on.

At the 40th minute of the match, Muon was fouled and fell down, lying on the body of rival defender Hai Hoa. From being fouled, Muon played foul as revenge against Hoa by striking her foot heel on her.

Witnessing the act, referee Hoang Anh awarded Muon a yellow card to warn her against the invalid stroke. When he turned away, Muon rushed forward and violently pushed him to protest his decision.

Despite of playing with 10 players on field during the whole second half, Hanoi Trang An 1 defended their 1-0 win to stand second on the table with 7 points after three games.

Earlier, hosts Ha Nam beat Hanoi Trang An 2 2-0 and Ho Chi Minh City made a goalless draw with Steel and Minerals Vietnam.
