On March 13, Pleiku city leaders said they did not identified the owner of the buffalo that butted and injured ten people. Two people were discharged from hospital and a young man with broken kneecap was transferred to a hospital in HCM City.

A lot of people flocked to the village of Pleiku Poh in Pleiku city to see the mad buffalo that made chaos in the highland city.

In the evening of March 12, this buffalo ran very fast on streets of Thong Nhat Ward, Pleiku City. Many pedestrians fled but the buffalo chased after and butted them. Some people left their motorbikes on the road to run. Some climbed up trees to avoid the buffalo. However, ten people were butted and six were hospitalized.

Some people tried to control the mad buffalo and reported to the police but they failed to catch it because the animal was too strong.

The local mobile police forces blocked some roads and asked local residents to close the door. Until 9pm, the police caught the mad buffalo in the village of Pleiku Poh.

The buffalo was injured because people stoned it during the hunt.
