VietNamNet Bridge - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has signed a decision to appoint two Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Based on the review of the Secretariat and the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung signed a decision to appoint Mr. Dang Minh Khoi, Assistant to the Foreign Minister and Head of the Department of Northeast Asian Affairs as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Mr. Vu Hong Nam, Assistant to the Foreign Minister, Head of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and acting Head of the State Committee of the Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, was also appointed as Deputy Foreign Minister and Chairman of the State Committee of the Overseas Vietnamese Affairs.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs now has eight deputy ministers.
