VietNamNet BridgePrime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on April 23 received 25 newly appointed Vietnamese ambassadors and consuls general, who will be sent to work abroad in the 2012-2015 term.

During the reception, PM Dung urged the diplomats to do their best to produce benefits for the country.

The PM asked the ambassadors to implement the Party and State’s external policies, effectively creating peace and stability for the development of Vietnam.

He highlighted their duties for helping international friends understand more about Vietnam’s foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, mutual benefits and befriending all countries in the world.

The Government leader stressed the importance of economic and cultural diplomacy, as well as boosting tourism and expanding export markets.
