PM Dung to attend CLMV 7 Summit

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will lead a Vietnamese delegation to attend the 7th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam CLMV Summit and the 6th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy Summit in Myanmar from June 22-23 (ACMECS 6).

PM Dung’s Myanmar visit is made at the invitation of President Thein Sein.

Congratulations sent to new RoK Prime Minister

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung extended his congratulations to the newly-appointed Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Hwang Kyo Ahn on June 18.

Hwang, 50, was the former Minister of Justice.

His appointment was approved by the parliament after Lee Wan Koo stepped down over an alleged bribery scandal.
