VietNamNet Bridge - Colonel Dao Van Chuong, Deputy Director of the General Economic Security Department of the Ministry of Public Security, has been assigned as Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV) of the Ministry of Transport.

Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang has decided to accept Chuong to the new position. Even though he is working at the CAAV, Chuong’s salary will still be paid by the Ministry of Public Security.

Three months ago, the Ministry of Transport asked the Ministry of Public Security to appoint an officer to hold the deputy directorship of the CAAV.

Chuong is the third police official working for the Ministry of Transport. Previously, Colonel Nguyen Minh Cuong, Deputy Director of the General Economic Security Department, was assigned as Deputy Director of the Vehicle Registration Agency and Colonel Tran Van Dung was appointed as Deputy Director of the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Transport.
