Vietnamese pop singer My Tam will host a live concert at Jangchung Gymnasium in the Republic of Korea on September 15.
My Tam will perform at a number of major festivals including the DMC Festival along with famous Korean artists.
Tam’s first live concerts in the RoK will take place at 16:00 and 20:00 at Jangchung Gymnasisum, Dongdaemun, which can accommodate 8,000 spectators.
The venue has previously hosted concerts for renowned names such as Seungri of Bigbang, Yoonmirae, Air Pink, and Kim Jung Soo and is the filming location for big music events of RoK’s leading television stations, KBS, MBC, SBS.
In order to host a live concert at Jangchung, singers must meet strict requirements in terms of extensive coverage in the region and financial capacity.
Satisfying the requirements to host a show at the busiest time has helped My Tam to become the first Southeast Asian artist to hold a live concert in Jangchung. She is the number one name in the Vietnamese music market that local and foreign partners desire to cooperate with.
On September 9, My Tam will be the first and only Vietnamese artist to perform at the DMC Festival, which is expected to draw the attendance of famous Korean stars.
During her tour in the ROK in September, My Tam will also attend a cultural festival celebrating the 73rd anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day on September 2 at Kwang HwaMun Square before participating in the World Bellydance event at the Art Centre on September 14.
