VietNamNet Bridge – Singer My Tam won three prizes, including Female Singer of the Year, at the Lan Song Xanh (Blue Wave) Awards 2011, of the HCM City People’s Voice Radio on December 5.

The pop star also entered the Top 10 songwriters and Top ten most favorite singers of 2011. This is the second time My Tam won the Female Singer of the Year title. The singer had many outstanding activities in 2011.

Among male singers, Dam Vinh Hung was the only one candidate for the Male Singer of the Year and he won the title. For many consecutive years, he has been always in the Top ten most favorite singers.

Ho Ngoc Ha took the Album of the Year and was among the Top ten favorite singers of 2011.

The seven others in the Top ten favorite singers include: Tuan Hung, Ho Quynh Huong, Cam Ly, Thu Minh, Cao Thai Son, Hien Thuc and Noo Phuoc Thinh.

Minh Hang and Ngo Kien Huy were presented Promising Singers title. However, many people do not agree because both of them are not new singers and they were not outstanding faces in 2011.

The Ten most favorite songwriters are: Nguyen Hai Phong, Nguyen Hong Thuan, Nguyen Khac Viet, Nguyen Hoang Duy, Nguyen Van Chung, Nguyen Duc Cuong, My Tam, Thuy Tien, Hoang Ton and Huy Tuan.
