VietNamNet Bridge – Singer My Tam will perform several of her well-known hits, accompanied by the Anh Em (Brothers) band, during a concert entitled Nhip Dap Dam Me (Beat of Passion).

The show, set to start at 8:30pm next Tuesday, is part of the Music on the Roof series organised by the Rooftop Bar at 83B Ly Thuong Kiet Street.

The series has been run since January this year with direction from composer Huy Tuan, grabbing the attention of music lovers looking for a space to enjoy good music.

Tam, born in 1981, trained as a ballerina for three years from the age of six before moving on to musical instruments such as guitar and organ. Enjoying singing, she only became aware of her talent after winning several prizes.

She subsequently studied at the HCM City Academy of Music and worked as a professional singer, becoming one of the most favoured singers in Viet Nam.

The singer recently released Melodies of Times, a pictorial covering her life and music career.
