A representative from the Lam Dong Department of Construction confirmed that all landslide-affected areas have now been cleared and repaired.

The road surface has been reinforced and meets safety standards for vehicles (excluding trucks) traveling through Xuan Huong Ward into Da Lat.

On November 17, a serious landslide occurred between Km224+600 and Km224+700 on the pass. Cracks and ground shifts prompted Lam Dong Province to declare an emergency and shut down the entire route for repairs.

The 7.4-kilometer upgrade project for Prenn Pass - expanded to four lanes - is overseen by the Lam Dong Provincial Transportation Project Management Board. It was officially put into use in December 2024 and is currently under a 12-month warranty.

The contractor remains responsible for maintenance and repairs of any defects that arise.
