On November 11 (local time), a formal welcoming ceremony was held for Vietnamese President Luong Cuong and his high-level delegation at Constitution Square, located in front of the Presidential Palace La Moneda in Santiago, Chile. The event was presided over by Chilean President Gabriel Boric Font.
As the vehicle carrying President Luong Cuong arrived in Constitution Square, the Chilean Presidential Honor Guard’s commander greeted him and respectfully invited him to walk along the red carpet to inspect the honor guard.
President Luong Cuong then proceeded toward the main entrance of La Moneda Palace, where President Gabriel Boric Font awaited him. The two leaders exchanged handshakes and faced the honor guard as the national anthems of Vietnam and Chile were played.
Following the ceremonial proceedings, President Gabriel Boric Font and President Luong Cuong entered the main hall of La Moneda Palace, where they exchanged friendly greetings and introduced officials from both countries in attendance.
Immediately after the ceremony, at noon on November 11 (the evening of the same day, Hanoi time), President Luong Cuong and Chilean President Gabriel Boric Font held official talks.
