Visitors to the Island of Con Dao will moor at Ben Dam port. The beaches on the island are embraced by green mountains, white sand and undulating reefs, creating a harmonious beauty.
Dam Trau Beach has white sand, and is embraced by mountains in an arc, so the sea is very calm. It is suitable for swimming and sunbathing, and enjoying the tranquility.
Ong Dung is a beautiful beach in Con Dao National Park, approximately 4 km from the center. On the way here, visitors have to pass through the Ong Dung primary forest in about 20 minutes.
You will walk in a picturesque landscape of Con Dao National Park with flowers, butterflies and birds.
You can also join the tour watching turtles to lay eggs on the beach in the reproductive season.
You will see the mother turtle laying hundreds of eggs or baby turtles crawling.
Nui Mot Temple was built by the US and South Vietnamese government in 1964 to serve the religious needs of the families whose family members worked in the government agencies on the island. From here visitors can see An Hai Lake, the panorama of Con Dao Town and Con Son Bay.
The road to Hang Duong Cemetery - the largest cemetery in Con Dao. It is the resting place of revolutionaries Vo Thi Sau, Le Hong Phong, Nguyen An Ninh and thousands of patriotic people.
Today, this is a must-see place for tourists to the island.
