My district, in which Tra Bui commune alone has nearly 290 households in
the resettlement area of the Song Tranh 2 Hydropower Plant. Many people
do not dare to live in their homes but in tents to avoid a hazard. |

house is cracked by earthquakes so Mr. Tran Van Phuc's family in
Village 2, Tra Bui Commune has to pitch a tent, around 500 meters from
his house, to live in the rainy season this year. |

Ho Van Thanh in Tra Bui Commune has to move to the new location, around 1
km from the old house, to erect a temporary house. |

| Mr.
Ho Van Tien, Chairman of Tra Bui Commune said that the commune has 321
households who devoted their land to build the Song Tranh 2 hydropower
plant. "These families do not dare to live in brick and concrete houses.
They build houses on stilts, which need 10 cubic meters of wood on
average. As a result, the watershed forest is harmed," Tien said. |
