Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quoc Tuan, Deputy Head of the Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department (Division PA05) of Quang Nam Provincial Police Agency, said that at present, children have little access to safety in cyberspace, so it is necessary to raise their awareness about self-protection in cyberspace.

According to Colonel Tran Quoc Tuan, women and children are the most vulnerable subjects when performing cyberspace activities. They are the targeted subjects of cybercriminals. Most children are not equipped with basic knowledge about cybercrime such as identity theft, cyberbullying, human trafficking, sexual abuse, online fraud...

Reports released at the forum entitled "Women, Cybersecurity and STEM" held on March 29 showed that 90% of victims of cyber fraud are women.

Based on this situation, Division PA05 has launched the Fanpage that edited videos, articles and images to equip children and women with knowledge to protect themselves and interact safely in the online environment at facebook.com/policeanninhmangquangnam, ID: 100090201267527.

The information posted on this Fanpage will contribute to the creation of a system of standards and codes of ethics in cyberspace; calling for, spreading and multiplying the children's education program on "Safety in Cyberspace". Also, it will help raise public awareness on child protection, care and education.
