At 5am, hundreds of people gathered to block Bau Giang Bridge on National Highway 1A, causing traffic congestion for several hours. Earlier, in the evening of Saturday, they held three workers of the sand exploiting enterprise - Truong Phat Loc Joint Stock Company - as "hostages."
