VietNamNet Bridge - In the next two months, Quang Ninh province will hold examinations to recruit qualified people for the position of vice directors for six state departments.
Mr. Nguyen Van Bien (standing), Deputy Chief of the Organizing Committee of Quang Ninh Party Committee, said the candidates must meet common standards prescribed in the Central Resolution 3.
The six departments that will have their deputy directors through examinations are: the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Justice, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Department of Transport.
Mr. Nguyen Van Bien, Deputy Chief of the Organizing Committee of Quang Ninh Party Committee, said the candidates must meet common standards prescribed in the Central Resolution 3: being a university graduate or post-graduate, having an advanced diploma on political theory, being proficient in at least one foreign language, well using computer and office equipment.
In addition, the candidates must be able to research, develop projects, mechanisms, policies and solutions to improve the quality of work, capable of forecasting, organizing the performance of all policies of the Party and the State in the field of charge besides some specialized expertise for each position.
The candidates must also have at least two years of experience in leadership and management from the department level or higher and meet some other criteria in terms of age and work experience.
The examination will be held in July and August. The candidates will have to make presentation and answer questions of the board of examinations.
Quang Ninh is the first province in the country to conduct examinations to recruit officials for departments. In January 2013, two women passed the exam to become the deputy chief of the Quang Ninh Department of Information and Communications and the chief of the Management Board of Ha Long Bay.
