VietNamNet Bridge – Veteran Doan Kien Quoc won the men's singles title at the National Table Tennis Championships in the central province of Khanh Hoa yesterday, Oct 25.

Quoc, 37, beat Ha Noi's No 1 player Nguyen Anh Tu in the final.

To take the title, Quoc of the hosts Khanh Hoa defeated strong rivals including defending champion Dinh Quang Linh and 27 SEA Games silver medallist Le Tien Dat.

In the men's team final, the Military team crushed T&T 1 3-1, while HCM City's Petrosetco bested Ha Noi 3-1 in the women's event.

The five-day event attracted the participation of more than 70 athletes from 12 teams nationwide.
